Halloween Night

 It was a cold fall night where two girls are getting ready to go trick or treating until something strange happened. Ding, dong. "ABIGAIL ARE YOU READY?" yelled Finley. " Yes, yes, just hold on," responds Abigail. Now I'm ready, wait I left something in the house I'm going to go grab it before we go.

 As Finley waits patiently shes hears something fall from behind the shed. Finley's eyes widened as fear crept into her she slowly began to back up and then.... "FINLEY" yelled Abigail. Do you still have my heels that I let you borrow last week. 

Finley still frightened of what happened nodded her head "yes they are at my house still why do you ask?". "I wanted to wear them with my costume. Can you please go get them?" "sure I guess " said Finley. When Finley arrived at her house to grab Abigail's heels she saw a note taped to her door reading "I'm always near" as she read it to herself she ran faster then ever. She kept hearing the words repeatedly in her mind. 



When she returned to Abigail's house she fell to the ground out of breath gasping for air. Abigail came running down her stairs to comfort Finley as she saw that something had happened. "Finley are you alright?" said Abigail as she was panicking. Abigail helped Finley up her stairs and into her house placing her on her couch. Abigail ran to all the doors and windows locking them. She grabbed her phone from out of her pocket and started dialing 9-1-1. Ten minutes later police arrived, and Finley explained everything to them. The police started to search around the house. Then they opened up the shed to find a tall middle aged man hiding. 

The two girls watched through the window as the man was arrested and placed in the cop car. The girls looked each other in the eyes and hugged crying in relief. Abigail and Finley from that day on never walked alone at night again. THE END.

    I like how you gave a lot of details, and descriptions of how each of the girls were feeling. Excellent job.

The Black Cat

 On a cold fall night there were two sisters named Leah and Cora. They were getting ready to go trick or treating. Leah was dressed as an angel, and Cora was dressed as a fairy. After getting ready they left the house ready to get as much candy as possible this year.  They spent an hour going to many houses in their neighborhood and their bags were full.  They decided to go get new bags and drop off their full ones at home.  Just as they were crossing the street, Cora saw something black out of the corner of her eye.
