It was Halloween night. The moon shown over the river, and thick fog hung over shoreline giving off an eerie glow. A dog wandered along the road and wined. Through the thick fog a small boat appeared. The craft docked on the riverbank and a shadowy figure emerged. He pulled his craft upon the shore and stepped upon the beach. He was strange figure dressed in a dark suit of clothing and a tricorn hat. From a distance a set of lights came into view and a vehicle screeched to a halt. The driver got out and surveyed the situation. He observed a man lying in the road dressed in some sort of costume. The figure groaned and rolled over. " Are you all right?" the driver was distraught. He pulled out his phone and started to dial an ambulance. Just then the man sat up. " It seems that I am." said the main checking himself over. I really like the variety of word choice in your story. It makes your story interesting. I was very surprised at the end that the turkey flew away. I didn't think turkeys could fly. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃.
